The pool and fitness rooms looked inviting as did the lobby and breakfast area. The bed and pillows were comfortable, which was also another positive. And they allowed us to check in early, which was also good. We were very glad to be so close to the airport that's one positive part of the stay. My friend and I stayed here for two nights while sightseeing in SLC.
We were on the first floor and whoever was in the room above ours sounded. The young lady who checked us in (Emily) took a phone call from someone while we just stood there waiting for her to finish checking us in, and we had to ask her where everything was. The light above the bathroom mirror was extremely dim and made it hard to see to put makeup on. One of the lamps by the mirror did not work we asked them to replace the bulb, but if they did, it still did not work because we tried another one ourselves. There were stains on the sofa and mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom. For the description to say "recently refurbished", however, that did not appear to be the case. The breakfast offerings were fair-scrambled eggs or egg/cheese patty, sausage, bread/bagels/English muffins/muffins, fruit, oatmeal, etc.-typical fare, nothing special. They had coffee available all the time (although it tasted like it had been made for awhile) and cookies in the afternoon.
